I seem to be getting into the habit of coming at the end of the day to report on events and I think tomorrow I’d like to improve that a bit. Maybe I will switch back to morning glory reports. For now, if you’ve been checking the blog during the day, hoping for an update, then forgive me. I’ll get off my noctural patterns and improve things.

As promised, I DID IT!! I made it to my hot yoga class!. In spite of all temptation to let life, email, or to do lists distract me, I made it to yoga. It was a one hour class, but she worked me HARD! The 90-minute class seems to be a bit more gentle and easy going. This was a push. That along with a few hours of bootin’ my booty speed walking to get things done, means I certainly got my exercise in today.

So today was the Vernal Equinox. The first day of Spring.

What did Spring bring you, Love?

It brought me…

…hot yoga and a strong back bend.

…snuggles and kisses with my muffins

…organic blood oranges and raw peppermint-chocolatey treats from the healthfood store by my house.

…a great conversation with Dr. Ritamarie about our upcoming deep tissue detox program.

…and it brought me Joshua Ellsworth.

And I know you’d like to know more, so I’ll continue this story after I get a bit of sleep.

I played indulged in adventures of one kind to another and as I make my way to the pillow, I assure you, I AM SMILING.

Good night, Love.

P.S.

Don’t forget to tell me what did Spring Bring for you??

    Tera,

Vernal Equinox was kind to me! I was blessed with 2 new clients; contact with two Divas [that had been missing from the forum]; huge amount of flowers for use in an Ikebana arrangement; lunch with a visiting friend; and most of the day with hubby – can’t get better than that for me … tanks for asking!

woooohooooo!!!! Good for you, Tera! You sleep well. (Although I think you’ll be up soon, since it’s now bedtime for me! lol)

I had a lovely afternoon. Hubby took the boys fishing this afternoon, so I went to the local haberdashery and b-r-o-w-s-e-d through the shop. Aaahhhh….. no hurry at all. I bought 3 balls of 8 ply yarn and a pair of knitting needles to knit squares for afghans to be sent to the bushfire survivors, as well as two more balls of baby yarn. Knitting is NOT my thing: I crochet! So this is a real adventure for me, albeit an indoors one. The yarn I bought is all multi-coloured and cheerful, and I know it will look fantastic when stitched with other squares into a comforting afghan.

Then I went to the local craft shop and made enquiries about selling things there. It is a co-op, so I left my information and next week will take my ‘stuff’ in for the other members to see. If they like it and approve, then it is a $25 membership fee (annual, I think) and then $14 per month for a 1/2 space. I’m really excited!!! I’ll be selling crocheted hair nets (to hold your hair in a bun), crocheted dish cloths, crochet edged baby wash cloths, and crocheted baby sets (jacket, bonnet, mittens, booties).

So autumn is becoming a real journey of adventure for me in many ways.

    Hugs & blessings,
    Gypsy Queen

I also have been enjoying some good fortune. I was able to breathe a bit of a financial sigh of relief when my contract cheque arrived early. Still have to finish the work, but I really appreciate the timing.

I challenged myself last night to head out on my own to a legion gig where my friend Glen and some members of his old band would be playing (love their music!). I wasn’t sure there’d be anyone else there for me to chat with while they were all on stage, but the universe rewarded me with lots of great company for the evening. I even had a chance to get out and jig on the dance floor. AND I think I finally learned how to two-step!!

    Pretty hopeful stuff I’d say!

    Happy Spring!

Spring has brought me some new energy (I’m realizing that I don’t even mind the cold as long as the sun is out) and a couple of gorgeous cookbooks that I just ordered (including one on gourmet raw food that I probably won’t ever use because the recipes are so complicated, but the photos alone are so unbelievably gorgeous that I find myself turning the pages just for fun).

I’m glad some of you are having great new changes, too!

Happy Spring everyone! I just cut my hair today to correspond with the Equinox (www.morroccomethod.com). It looks great, and I feel fresh! What are/did other people do for the arrival of Spring?

Thanks, Tera, for posting in the morning! I love waking up to read your posts. :)

Talk about new beginnings! I couldn’t sleep last night because I was too excited for this raw food teacher training class this weekend. Sooo many possibilities ready to bloom, I can’t wait to see what unfolds! I’m glad you made it to your pillow last night, Tera ;)

Happy belated spring. Congrats on the productive day. I’m looking forward to the morning posts as I’m definately not a night owl like yourself.

Yea, I’m one of those morning people that go to bed before you post…I’m glad you’re considering returning to the morning post thing.

Saturday was a sad day. Started Friday with my cat not acting right. Got her to the vet Sat. and she is blind… hyperthyroid… caused Blood Pressure to go up, and the high blood pressure caused detached retina in each eye. She is adaping very well, and can even find her litter box on her own. I don’t dare move things around, though she still bumps into things. I’m sure she is scared. I hate to give her medication, but it’s for her thyroid and should also lower her BP, but she won’t ever see again. Just trying to make things as easy and comfortable for her as possible. She is such a sweetheart.

Oh Spring has been good to me. The extra blessing was that I SO needed a weekend like this … writing this on Monday morning I think I need another one ASAP already!

Spring brought glorious SUN which I LOVED. I was also blessed with a wonderful husband that not only spent great time with our daughter but also cleaned and did chores so I wouldn’t feel bad when the babysitter showed up Saturday night. I spent almost the entire day at a Yoga workshop — 2 hours of a “dance yoga” (can’t remember the name off the top of my head!), and half hour break when I shared Green Smoothies with everyone and distributed cards (so if you get some new sign ups from Minnesota now you know why), and then 2 hours of Restorative Yoga — awesome!!! Then Saturday night I went to a local production of the The Vagina Monologues … first time I made time to go see it … a friend was also in the production so that was fun. Sunday I made time for a glorious long run in the sun! I’m totally committed to upping my fitness level and it’s exhilarating … unfortunately it can also be time consuming and exhausting but it’s going to be worth it too. Since my daughter fell asleep early, I ended the night (early!) with some good time with my husband and fell into bed.

Coming to check in on what had been posted since the last time I was online has filled me back up with hope for this very very busy week … either that or it was the green juice. ;-)

Spring brought a new garden in my back yard. This Spring Break I got to play in the dirt as I scaled off the grass and mixed humus and compost together to make my ground fertile for the greens and veggies I plan on growing this summer.

    Thank you Spring!!
