If I told you how many kosher, live-fermentation, organic, garlic and dill pickels I just ate, you might not believe me.
The seductive allure of salt gets me almost every time, but when coupled with the zingy fizzle of live fermentation, it’s almost too much to resist.
I’ve been gearing up for the Body Enlightenment System. Starting this weekend, it’s going to be the first time I do a FULLY LIVE version of the BES in almost 5 years. I can feel that the season is changing and my personal will power and ache to succeed is stronger than ever. That’s why I decided to do a special version of the Body Enlightenment System starting on Monday, Sept. 14th. All the messages for this version will be new, live, fresh. Based on where I am now and what I know. Until now they’ve been the messages I wrote almost 5 years ago.
But I’ve changed. We all have. This version is going to be special.
When you’re making dinner for the kids and have fallen in love with a prosciutto-eating prince, it’s hard sometimes not to dip a finger or steal a nibble of something cooked here and there. More often than not, a nibble leads to a nosh and so in the interests of my own hard-headed need to succeed and BE the change I’m trying to inspire in the world, I’m sticking to RAW.

The last few days I’ve been gearing up and getting ready. (No more finger dipping in the roasted red pepper hummous, no more “naughty” nibbles!) I’ve noticed it’s easy to replace one crutch with another, if you’re not careful. I guess that’s how I found myself staring at the bottom of a jar of “Bubbies” pickles wondering how it happened.

It’s time to buckle down. For the next few days I’ll be sticking to green smoothies and juices. I’ll do my best to avoid fruit and nut combinations, salty foods and heavy, oily foods. The chocolate powder will be put away–up high, high in the cupboard and I’m going to roll up my proverbial sleeves and get down to business.
This is going to be the last time EVER that I do the BES live like this. It’s going through a M A J O R makeover and in the new year, it won’t be the same program anymore. Signing up now means you’ll still qualify for LIFETIME access to the program. I can’t guarantee that this same service will be offered next year.

I completely agree! Salt is definitely the hardest thing to give up. I find that going 100% raw without salt or other spices is the only way to kick the addiction.
